This week’s featured shelter pets are Holly and Mistle Toes, a mother and daughter duo who can’t seem to catch a break. These sweet souls are on their third stay at the Smithtown Animal Shelter due to no fault of their own. They were adopted and returned not once, but twice by people that had to move. Needless to say, this is devastating! Yet through all of the heartache, they have always remained together.

At 12 years old, Holly (pictured up front) is outgoing with everyone while Mistle Toes (age 11) needs a little time to warm up but they are both loving and gentle souls.
