Hermès returns to Americana Manhasset with redesigned boutique

By Greater Long Island October 31, 2026 2 min read

The French luxury brand reopened its renovated boutique at 1988 Northern Blvd. on Oct. 29, unveiling a design inspired by Long Island’s Gold Coast homes, gardens and shoreline.

The previous franchise-operated store closed in September 2023, the Long Island Press reported. The boutique is now operated directly by Hermès, according to the publication.

Designed by Parisian architecture firm RDAI, the renovated space features curved brick arches, tall ceilings and a central rotunda topped by a skylight, according to a release from Americana Manhasset.

The single-level store carries clothing, silk scarves, jewelry, watches, leather goods, beauty products and home furnishings. Walnut cabinetry, cherrywood walls and green accents fill the interior, alongside artwork from Hermès’ collections.
